Creativity is powerful, and when creatives come together, we believe you can change the world. At Studio South, all creators are welcome, no matter what your skill level or medium!
We want to hype you up! If you are using the space for an event, or for getting content for your business, we'll do everything we can to support you. We also understand things happen. We value and lead with honesty, kindness and compassion in everything that we do.
This space is for everyone. Whether you are a pro photographer, marketing firm, or have never picked up a camera in your life, you are welcome! All you need is your creativity, a positive attitude, and something to record with, even if it's just your phone.
If you need use than 6 feet of infinity paper backdrops extended on the floor and they are excessively dirty or damaged, you will be invoiced an additional $25.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, the deposit may be applied to a future date within 30 days of the original booking.
Cancellation of fewer than 24 hours will result in a forfeit of deposit or any monies paid.

Set up and tear-down are included in the reservation time. Please plan your booking accordingly. If you go over the time limit, you will be invoiced.
A signed agreement and the full reservation fee in advance to reserve your desired time slot.
If you need a last-minute booking or don’t see your needed date on the schedule, please contact us so that we can try to accommodate!
HOW DO I BOOK THE SPACE?
All booking is done conveniently online! You will receive directions to the building as well as a unique lock code to access the key to the suite. When you are done, lock the door and put the key back in the lockbox. If you are looking to book a pop-up, please contact us directly at email@example.com
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?
Guests under the age of 18 must bring a parent or guardian to the reservation.
CAN WE BRING PETS?
As much as we are obsessed with dogs, our building does not currently allow animals on the premises. Also, no smoke bombs or glitter, please.
WHAT ABOUT FOOD, DRINKS, CONFETTI
Heck yeah! We love a celebratory photoshoot and snacks. We’ve got plenty of cleaning supplies on-hand and you have access to our mini-fridge.
If you are using confetti, you must bring something to cover the floor. The floors are real hardwood and brand new, so please please use with care.
WILL ANYONE ELSE BE IN THE SUITE?
You have the space all to yourself! All equipment is beginner-friendly and we trust our creators to use it accordingly. Should you have questions about the use of anything, you’re more than welcome to contact me!
CAN I USE THE SPACE FOR A POP UP OR EVENT?
This space is perfect for relaxed gatherings with 10 people or fewer. Pop-up shops and workshops may need additional permits.
WHERE DO WE PARK?
There is a private parking lot on the premises, and instructions will be sent to you prior to your reservation. Additionally, there is metered parking on the street and various parking lots across Downtown Marquette. Click here for info on parking in Downtown Marquette.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Use of all of the space and the studio amenities, private parking, setup, and cleanup.
You can absolutely bring your own props, backdrops, installations, etc.! Just give us a heads-up so that we can prepare the space and schedule you accordingly.
CAN I EXTEND MY TIME?
Absolutely! As long as there is not another booking immediately following your session, you can extend your time by 30 or 60 minutes.
Setup and cleanup are included in the reservation, and we ask that you ‘reset the studio’ when you are finished so that it is ready for the next reservation. A 2-hour reservation is enough time to shoot for at least 60-90 minutes.
